Turning Adversity into Impact

Meet Joe Stone
Keynote Speaker | C7 Quadriplegic | Resilience Expert | Catalyst for Change
Joe Stone is a C7 quadriplegic and nationally recognized keynote speaker who helps audiences tap into what truly drives transformation—resilience, vision, and purpose. His story is proof that even the most unimaginable setbacks can lead to extraordinary breakthroughs.
After surviving a speed flying accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down, Joe began rewriting the narrative. Within a year, he hand-cycled Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. He went on to become the first C7 quadriplegic to attempt an IRONMAN triathlon—and later returned to the skies as a competitive paraglider. He is now ranked 3rd in the world for adaptive cross-country paragliding.
His journey, featured in the documentary It’s Raining, So What and in two episodes of HBO’s Real Sports, has moved audiences around the globe.
Today, Joe delivers keynotes that ignite momentum. He blends hard-earned insight with vulnerability, humor, and heart—helping people and organizations face change with courage, lead through uncertainty, and turn challenge into growth. Whether he’s speaking to corporate teams, conferences, or community leaders, Joe brings the spark to get things moving, the grit to keep going, and the heart to make it matter.
